=============================================================================== How to convert a T610 "empty board" to a working phone =============================================================================== 1. Backup the GDFS using the "Read GDFS" function. 2. Create a valid security zone for the phone using the "Create security zone I" function and save it to a file. 3. Upload the file T610_secondary_GDFS.mdc to the GDFS using "Write GDFS" function. 4. Upload the file T610_primary_GDFS_no_change_to_calibration.mdc to the GDFS. 5. Upload the file created in the step #2 to the GDFS (and finalize GDFS). 6. Flash T610 firmware, preferably version R1A081, first AVR, then ARM. 7. Disconnect the battery from the phone, connect it back, and check if the phone is working OK. --- In case the phone is not working well, continue: 8. Upload T610_primary_GDFS_with_default_calibration.mdc to the GDFS. 9. Upload the file created in the step #2 to the GDFS (and finalize GDFS). --- Note: Reattach the phone when needed. If the time required for booting the phone sucks, wait for the next release of SE-Fighter (1.35) which will reduce the time spent entering bootstrap mode. =============================================================================== File description =============================================================================== T610_primary_GDFS_no_change_to_calibration.mdc ---------------------------------------------- - this file is to be used for empty boards (together with T610_secondary_GDFS.mdc) T610_primary_GDFS_with_default_calibration.mdc ---------------------------------------------- - this file is to be used for phones with totally damaged GDFS (together with T610_secondary_GDFS.mdc) T610_secondary_GDFS.mdc ----------------------- - this file contains default user data for T610.
